This is a card that I made last night playing around. I used the Close to My Heart ribbon, watercolor pencils, and the Rosey Regards stamp set. I also used embossing glitter from PK Glitz. Hope you enjoy. Excuse my big hand, but I don't have anything to prop it up with.

Scrapping Today!

Went to local scrapbook store and made a shadow box. While there I was going to make some cards for a friend for christmas gift, but got side tracked. A friend showed me how to make a pair of earrings and a bracelet. Her daughter was kicking them out like they were nothing. Thanks Tish. I will post pictures as soon as I get them taken.

Scrapping with mom

Yesterday I went to my mothers. She just got back from a 8 week vacation and she wanted to show me some of her pictures that she was on her way to pick up from Walmart. I was meet her at her house and she should be back home before I got there and then we were gonna spend the scrapping.
When she got home she said that they had lost her pictures. She took 8,000 while on this vacation. I'm sorry but I don't know how you would lose that many pictures. Anyways they made it up to her and said that they would reprint and not charge her. That is good because that could to have been expensive.
I took Gypsy with me because I have several cartridges that she don't have. Actually the ones that she has is because I bought them for me and found out when I got home I already had them, so I have them to her. I didn't get any scrapping for myself done but I did make some stuff for her that way when she gets her pictures she can get some of them scrapped and then I can look at them. I think that it would be nice to see themthat way anyways.

I got my first button today thanks to a girl on the cricut message board. She designed it and was great and allowing us to use it.

Also I hadn't told my husband that I bought myself the Gypsy for my birthday from myself. He found it today as I was having to charge it. He thought that it was a video game and started to play with it and ran the battery down again. So now I still can't play. I then told him that I bought it and he was ok with it. WHEW!!!! Money is tight since I work in the auto industry.

I am new to the blogging world. I am very busy with work. I have hardly no time for myself, but when I do, I love to scrapbook and stamp. I am just getting into card making and having fun learning that. I have been thinking about getting into selling Close to My Heart stamps, But I really have no time to devote to it as I work a lot of 12 hr days. When I have time I will post some of my work. It's definately not the best work out there, but I think that it's good enough for mine.
